Nike’s history is marked by groundbreaking designs, like the Air Jordan and Air Max series, and a strong commitment to athlete performance. Beyond products, Nike’s influence extends into pop culture, where it represents determination, excellence, and self expression. Its legacy is built on innovation, creativity, and collaborations with world class athletes that continuously push the boundaries of sportswear and inspire millions.
Nike utilises innovative design and visual merchandising techniques to create dynamic, engaging retail experiences that showcase its brand ethos. Each store blends cutting edge technology with eye-catching displays to captivate customers and tell Nike’s story.
Nike Town on Oxford Street in London exemplifies this approach, featuring immersive spaces with high tech installations, live product demonstrations, and interactive elements. The store merges the digital and physical realms to provide a personalised shopping journey. By emphasising community and brand heritage, Nike Town creates a space where customers can connect with the brand, be inspired, and experience Nike’s innovative spirit firsthand.
Studio Sowow was commissioned to create a series of 2.5-meter tall illuminated cloud sculptures. The project involved designing and fabricating all metal frames, which were then expertly clad with bespoke vacuum formed panels to achieve a seamless, ethereal appearance. Each cloud was internally lit using a custom designed LED system, giving them a radiant, captivating glow.
Studio Sowow oversaw every stage of the process, from conceptual design to full production, ensuring that the clouds were meticulously crafted and visually striking. The result was a breathtaking display, blending form and function to capture a sense of wonder and elevate the visual experience.
